our new life.

It's crazy how fast these last 3 months have gone! I am constantly amazed at how fast time seems to slip away.  Justin and I are both at UVU.  Justin should be graduating this spring! yay! :) and I will hopefully be in a nursing program by the fall!  Life is going so great! Our cute apartment is all set up! (I'll have to post pictures of that sometime soon!) 
We are finally getting in the groove of things! It's amazing how much we have learned about one another in this short amount of time! I can't even imagine after 20 years!  Justin ceases to amaze me everyday!  He wakes me up every morning and I usually wake up frustrated but by the end he has me laughing.  I love it.  I love how god puts the people you need in your life.  It amazes me that he knows exactly what is going to happen and that everything will all work out!  We are going to a married student ward and we LOVE it.  We both were a little apprehensive about going to it at first but it's definitely what we both needed! 
For fall break we were able to drive down to his grandpas house in Arizona and spend the weekend with them!  It was a lot of fun we went miniature golfing, scooter rides, and all those retired people things!  We then stopped at my parents condo in St. George on the way home and went and saw Hairspray the musical at the Tuacahn!  So good!

Well I think that catches up the bulk of things in our life.  I love the weekends and the time we get to spend together and with family and friends!  We are honestly SO blessed.

The Wedding.

August 18, 2012.  Probably the best day of our lives.  Seriously everything about our wedding was absolutely perfect!! I always would hear those stories about something going wrong on the wedding day but I can honestly say NOTHING went wrong that day.  It was seriously perfect!  We got sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple and then had the luncheon soon after at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.  We had our Ring Ceremony and Reception at Thanksgiving Point Gardens.  My oh My was that a beautiful place!!  I could not have been more lucky to marry Justin.  Everyday I think about how absolutely lucky I am to have him, he is my everything!  I have SO many favorite pictures from this day but I'll try and keep it short and only upload a few! call me crazy?

Holy COW! Life has been hectic lately! Finally got my dress altered!! :) Invites are picked out, cake has been decided on suits, and groomsmen have been picked out.  It's finally all coming together!  Life is great, just busy, busier than I want it to be.  Just and I never get to even see each other because of our jobs and school.  (one week left of school! yay!)  This past weekend we went to St. George with my family and grandparents and it was a blast to just be able to lay by the pool, eat food, and not have a care in the world! :) Throughout all the crazyness we've been able to have some fun... like the he is we concert, snow cones, and summer night walks.  Can I just say I LOVE HIM?! Really though... I'm lucky. <3

the beginning of forever.

I'M ENGAGED! :)  and I am quite possibly the happiest girl on this planet.  I get to marry my best friend, the hottest kid on the plant!!! haha

Here's the story:

We met in psy 1100 and to be quite honest I thought he was a player and didn't really care to get involved with him.  One day he invited me to go to Zupas for lunch after class with him and I said sure! So we went and had a blast but! he never asked me for my number after so I thought hey this isn't going anywhere.  The next week in class, he put HIS number in my phone so I could bring him leftover pizza after work.  A week after that we went and got frosty's and HE KISSED ME!!! I was literally floating when I walked inside! :) From then on we started talking everyday and by November we were inseperable! :) We went on a trip to Boston over Christmas Break and on the flight home he said... I LOVE YOU!!! :) He had been planning on leaving for the summer to texas to do summer sales and I was DREADING it.  We said our "goodbyes" Sunday night and it was one of the hardest things... little did I know it was all just a set up for this whole proposal thing!  I went to work all day Monday and then that night went out for ice cream with the bestie.  Meanwhile, while I was gone Justin had came over and decorated my room with balloons and on the ends of the balloons were pictures of us, notes, HE IS WE CONCERT TICKETS!, gift cards, and our favorite snacks.  He then made a video of him saying how he wishes he could be here with me but is so grateful that my  mom and sisters were able to put this last surprise together for me.  He then went on to say that there was another surprise waiting for me outside!  Okay now lets back up... I come home from ice cream and headed straight for the garage to grab something out of my car for Alex and lo and behold... Justin is hiding in the laundry room.  I FREAk out and then he tells me to just go upstairs! So I go upstairs as he follows behind me and then wallah!! he proposes :) :)

It didnt' go as planned whatsoever but was probably more perfect than anything I could ever imagine! I love him a lot and am so so excited to spend forever with him! 8/18/12 is the big day! The wedding planning has just begun and it's so fun! I love him :)
