1) Our trip to Honolulu, Hawaii in March 2013 was definitely a hit. Justin was able to get the trip to Hawaii for more than half of what it would normally cost through his work. So we definitely took advantage of that and called it our 6 month anniversary getaway!
I was so excited to be able to go through the Laie temple. It has always been my favorite temple.
We spent lots of time walking around and sight seeing. We drove to North Shore quite often because the beaches there are much prettier than those right in the city.
After many failed sunset dinner cruise attempts on our honeymoon, we decided to try again in Hawaii. The food was not very good but the scenery was amazing. We definitely had a blast.
2) California trip with the Plant family. This was one very busy but very fun trip!
We did Universal Studios and Disneyland. We stayed in a beach house that was to die for!
I'm so lucky that when I married Justin I also got to inherit the cutest nieces and nephews! :)
Cars land is easily my favorite place!
4) Lake Powell trip with my family. There's just something about that place that I love. It's so relaxing yet so fun at the same time!
5) BUYING OUR FIRST HOME! In July of 2013 we purchased our first home. It was so exciting knowing that all of our pinching pennies and saving up paid off. It is right off of center street in Provo. It's a duplex so we rent out the top unit and live in the basement. I will do a whole other post on the remodel of the home because after almost a whole year we are finishing up with the renovations of the basement.
6) Celebrating our first anniversary. August 18, 2012 will always be one of my favorite memories. To celebrate our one year we went to Park City and shopped, ate, and just enjoyed each others company.
7) Bear Lake with my family. I love being with my family and I love going to Bear Lake so it's a perfect combination. It is so pretty there!
I LOVE BEING AN AUNT!
8) Going to JCW's more than we would like to admit. But come on, how can you not love that place?!
9) Halloween/ Thanksgiving & Christmas. The holiday season is always such a fun filled time. This holiday season was no exception!
Holiday Sugar cookie making... too bad Justin doesn't like sugar cookies.
